Why it's such a big deal
It's the Pokémon TCG's 30th anniversary, and the Ultra-Premium Collections lean hard into nostalgia, with a special pack of three Classic Collection cards and Pikachu ex promos illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN. Pair that with the last big set of 2026 and the start of holiday shopping, and you get queues, sellouts and a lot of marked-up listings.
How to buy at retail
- Ask your local game store about prerelease seats (Oct 24) and pre-orders.
- Watch the Pokémon Center and big-box stores like Target, Walmart, Best Buy and GameStop. Printed Price reported GameStop's Delta Reign ETB pre-order at $89.99 and Walmart and Amazon listings from third-party sellers only, all above MSRP, as of Oct 9.
- Presale and resale prices usually cool once product ships. If you're buying a gift, MSRP is the number to beat.
- Buy sealed product from the retailer itself, and be wary of resealed or fake boxes from unknown sellers.
