What it's about (no spoilers)
Jason drowns at camp, his body is never found, and nine months later Pam is still not okay. When body parts start turning up in the woods, the police chief's journalist sister starts pulling on a conspiracy thread, and Pam's own past turns out to be a lot darker than the town's lunch lady should have. Variety calls it more psychological thriller than straight slasher, with plenty of gore.

Fans clocked this fast: episodes include "A New Beginning," "The New Blood," "Friday..." and "The Final Chapter," which echo the titles of Friday the 13th sequels. Variety singles out Episode 7, "Friday...," a 1959-set flashback, as the best of the bunch.
