Why it's trending
Defense. Golden State led by 16 at the half and held Atlanta to 33.3% shooting and 4 of 23 from three, per AP. Gabby Williams scored 17, Kiah Stokes grabbed 16 rebounds with three blocks, and Tiffany Hayes scored all 13 of her points after halftime. Angel Reese was held to 8 points on 2 of 12 shooting. And it's a big deal either way: neither franchise has ever won a title.
