🎟️ Tickets: the honest version
Public tickets went on sale Oct 1 at NBAEvents.com, starting around $50, and sold out in under two hours. Your official options now are premium hospitality packages from NBA Experiences, or watching NBAEvents.com for released seats. Hinkle is a college gym, small by NBA standards, so resale will be pricey. Only buy from sellers with real buyer protection.
🔎 The scavenger hunt (done)
On Oct 1 the NBA hid five game balls around Indy: Plump's Last Shot, the John Wooden statue on Georgia Street, the Butler Bulldog statue, the Sports Legends Experience at the Children's Museum, and the NDY sculpture on Mass Ave. The first fans to return one to Hinkle won tickets. All five have been found.
🧳 Travel and hotels
Hinkle sits in the Butler-Tarkington neighborhood, about 5 miles north of downtown. Downtown hotels put you near the bars and Lucas Oil, then it's a short drive or rideshare to campus. Broad Ripple, a mile or so northeast, is the closest nightlife. Book refundable rooms now; you won't know the teams until Dec 9. Indianapolis International Airport (IND) is about 20 to 30 minutes away.
