Big Monday: World Series Game 3 and WNBA Finals Game 5, both at 8 ET
By The Trends Incoming team · Published 2026-10-26
Grab the remote, maybe two. Tonight is the rare Monday when two championship series tip off at the exact same minute.
What it is
| World Series Game 3 | Brewers (lead 2-0) at Rays, 8 p.m. ET, Tropicana Field, FOX and FOX One. Robert Gasser vs. Freddy Peralta. |
|---|---|
| WNBA Finals Game 5 | Dream at Valkyries (tied 2-2), 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT, Chase Center, USA and Peacock. |
Why it's trending
Baseball: MLB.com asks whether we're "nearing a Brewers coronation" or in for a long series. Peralta, the ALCS MVP, starts against his former team. Basketball: it's a best-of-three now, and the Valkyries' Kiah Stokes already owns the Finals record with 14 blocks, the team says. Neither WNBA franchise has a title, so somebody's history is coming.
